Training Opportunities

Kendall Family Services is committed to creating a suicide-safer community. In recent years, we have proactively pursued advanced training to equip ourselves to facilitate two of LivingWorks' premier programs: ASIST (Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training) and SafeTALK.

ASIST is a dynamic two-day course that empowers participants with the essential skills for conducting effective suicide interventions.

SafeTALK is an engaging four-hour course that introduces participants to the critical topic of suicide, providing them with the tools to discuss it confidently in a safe environment, ultimately guiding individuals who may be experiencing suicidal thoughts toward the help they need.

Mission

It is our mission to support the disabled and senior populations within our community by “meeting you where you’re at” in a manner that embraces our core values and enhances the human experience of all whom we serve.

Vision

It is the vision of KFS to grow a community where both clients and employees alike have opportunities for growth and development to enable them with the skills to navigate life's unique challenges and successes.
